Skiing

The Alta Badia ski area stands as a true paradise for both skiers and snowboarders. It boasts 130 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes with guaranteed snow coverage, serviced by 53 modern lifts. As a central part of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, which includes a total of 1,220 km of ski slopes and 450 lifts, Alta Badia is also the perfect starting point for some of the most beautiful ski tours in the Dolomites, including the "Sellaronda" and the "First World War Tour". Moreover, winter sports enthusiasts can showcase their prowess and feel like world champions on the Gran Risa slope, the annual venue for the FIS Ski World Cup.

Cross-country skiing

In Alta Badia, you find 30 km of cross-country ski runs, surrounded by the Dolomites peaks. Cross-country skiing instructors and equipment will be found at ski school Alta Badia in San Cassiano Armentarola.

Ciaspolada

In the local language “Ciaspolada” is the word for walking with snow shoes. A gentle winter sport for all age groups.
